My name's Jess and I own Golden Fern. I've been piercing since 2012, awarded Al D. scholarship to APP conference in Las Vegas in 2017 where I've returned to volunteer every year since and met Jason, our second piercer and my partner.
I strived to become APP member and UKAPP member and met that target in Jan 2020.
I am First Aid & CPR trained and Trauma Informed. As of early 2021, I have introduced my own line of handmade 18 karat body jewellery to my collection of quality jewellery we are proud to offer in studio.
The studio is LGBTQIA+ safe space where all are welcome and your identity will be respected. We love adorning people's bodies to help them best reflect their personality and individualism. Piercing is not just about decoration, our aim is to help you feel more 'you' than you did before our session, whether that's a simple jewellery change to remove something you feel is holding you back or an entirely new piercing to reclaim or celebrate your bodily autonomy- we got you!
The photo of 8 people is of Jess with every other piercer fortunate enough to receive the Al D. Scholarship in 2017. Being the only recipient from within the UK that year, though not the only European, was one of the many unforgettable things about this experience.
In 2015, it was time for a UK-based association to be created. This first meet (group shot outside) took place before the organisation was officially formed. Nevertheless, the information traded and relationships created were equally important. If you are too far away from Wiltshire to visit Golden Fern, it would be our pleasure to put you in contact with other APP and UKAPP members across GB and Europe.
Welcome to Golden Fern.
